Nestled in a quiet area just north of McGregor Bay, Rainbow Lodge provides seasonal high quality accommodations and tranquility for tourists and business customers alike.  Accommodations consist of two fully furnished bedrooms; 2 queen beds and one king size bed.  The fully equipped kitchen complimented by a cozy dining room, combined with the natural warmth of the great room, make the lodge no less than the perfect option for those whom appreciate both quality and convenience.  The region in and around the Lodge offers breath taking scenery, provides some of the best fresh water boating in the world and offers significant historical and cultural experiences.  Whether a guest may want to find a beach, fish the waters or experience a cultural activity, the lodge is the gateway to enjoy, explore, and engage the environment.Rainbow Lodge, a building of historical and traditional value, hosts events in a traditional setting. It is situated within view of the sacred area known to the Ojibwe people as "Dreamer's Rock" where traditionally young people fasted and received their visions.

Rainbow Lodge is owned and operating by the Whitefish River First Nation. The Lodge was built in 1969 for the TV series Adventures in Rainbow Country.  In 2008, the lodge went through renovations. The tranquility and peacefulness of the area has a feeling
